Puketapu School

As part of Puketapu School’s roll growth project, Southcoast Construction were tasked to construct a new building that consisted of 4 classrooms. These classrooms were designed with breakout spaces, cooking facilities, and washrooms/WCs. The building’s design has a particular architectural flair, while still coherent with its surroundings. Before the build could take place, we had to work alongside local civil contractors to redirect a major existing council stormwater system whilst ensuring the school and neighbouring properties’ plumbing infrastructure were all kept functioning and undisturbed.  This project was completed on-time, within budget and received much praise and attention. It was delivered alongside BSM Group, Ardern Peters Architects and The Ministry of Education. The project duration was 10 months.
